❦ About Zephs' Restaurant

Housed in a 19th century mill building, Zephs' has expanded this sense of history to bring traditional world foods to Peekskill. Over our 22 years here, we've developed classic dishes that you can expect to see each year, each at its appropriate time. Sour cherry pie in July, heirloom tomato soup in August, cassoulet in December, and duck confit all year long.

Culinary trends are not our focus. We rely on traditional dishes, changing and adapting only as a home cook might, always with an emphasis on fresh ingredients from the market or garden. Everything is made here: Focaccia and soups; pasta, puff pastry, pierogi and pickles; ice creams, cakes, and pies.

Our most appreciated compliment is when a customer recognizes "This is not restaurant food".

Have a look at a sample menu. Although the menu changes with the season, this example gives you an idea of what to expect without taking away the fun of discovery. Main courses are served with a small green salad, vegetables and appropriate accompaniments.

A full bar with reasonably priced wines by the glass and bottle is available. You are also welcome to bring your own wine ($16 corkage fee)
